THE FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OF OIL AND GAS, BONNY, ENGAGING AND PARTNERING WITH WORLD-CLASS ORGANIZATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS FOR DEVELOPMENT.

Engagement and partnership are intertwined concepts where partnership is a process of active involvement and mutual benefit, and engagement is the active participation and interaction within that partnership. Partnership emphasizes reciprocal learning, trust, and shared goals, while engagement focuses on creating a thriving ecosystem where partners are motivated to contribute.

The Polytechnic is having fruitful engagements and partnership with organizations both on the Island and outside the Island to consolidate on the progress made thus far. On Wednesday April 30th, 2025, two subsidiary companies of NLNG visited the Polytechnic.

The companies, Chabourne Engineering services and

Dececon Engineering Ltd came on inspection of the Polytechnic’s Medical Facilities with the aim of partnership for their staff medicals. They were taken round by the Rector Dr Victor Okolobah and the Medical Director, Dr Virginia Uche. The team led by Mr Anthony Banigo were exceedingly happy and impressed by the infrastructure and amenities available at the Polytechnic Medical centre.

This is outside the committed interest indicated by the External Relations Council of NLNG TRAIN 7 to bring on board their staff for Medical too. These partnerships are expected to be mutually beneficial and above all deepen the relationships established for further collaborations in different interest areas.

The Polytechnic under the pragmatic leadership of Dr Victor Okolobah is ready to engage with individuals, corporate organizations and government agencies to harvest development of all kinds to the Institution.

Leadership for all intent and purpose is to provide direction and produce changes capable of transforming situations that were hitherto unfavorable. That is the focus of the Management led by Dr Victor Okolobah to bring the mandate of the Institution to its complete and full potentials.

The best of times are still unraveling and the staff members of the Polytechnic are happy and ready to put their best to the progressive development unfolding before them.

Thank you.
