Profile Of Mrs. Hannatu Hosea, Acting Polytechnic Librarian, Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny.
Mrs. Hannatu Hosea is a library and information professional with over twenty years of progressive experience in academic librarianship. As the Acting Polytechnic Librarian at the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, she focuses on knowledge management, digital innovation, and user-centered services. She is a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN) and an active member of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA). Professional Background Mrs. Hosea began her career at Adamawa State University, Mubi, where she served as Head of Collection Development, Head of Reader Services, and Technical Services Librarian. In 2014, she joined the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny. Her roles there have included Cataloguing and Acquisition Librarian and Circulation Librarian, leading to her current appointment as Acting Polytechnic Librarian. Her professional and research interests include: Information literacy and user education ICT integration in library management Digital preservation and emerging technologies Change management within the Fifth Industrial Revolution She has shared her research through participation in both national and international conferences.
