The Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Full-Time National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) APPLICANTS:

Age: Minimum of 16 years at the time of application.
UTME: Minimum score of 100 in the 2026 JAMB examination.
O’ Level: Minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects (WAEC, GCE, NECO, or equivalent) in not more than two (2) sittings.

Science: Compulsory credits in Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry.
Applied Sciences: Compulsory credits in Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics and one Basic Science subject. Excluding Library and Information Science where a credit pass in “Literature in English”, is required.
Social Sciences: Compulsory credits in Mathematics, English, and one of Economics, Commerce, or Marketing.

FOR HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) APPLICANTS:

A relevant National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit from an NBTE-recognized institution. (Pass grades may be considered under specific conditions).
Evidence of one (1) year post-ND Industrial Work Experience (SIWES).
A copy of the original JAMB Admission Letter for the ND programme.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Change of Institution: Interested candidates who did not choose Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas Bonny as their first choice but wished to study in the institution and scored 100+ in the 2026/2027 UTME should visit our JAMB CBT Centre or any other centre to effect a Change of Institution to Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, as their First Choice.
O’ Level Upload: Candidates must upload their O’ Level results to the JAMB portal immediately. Failure to do so will disqualify the candidate from admission.
Qualified Candidates must visit the institution official website to fill the Application forms and upload all necessary document
