\u200bMrs. Hannatu Hosea is a library and information professional with over twenty years of progressive experience in academic librarianship. As the Acting Polytechnic Librarian at the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, she focuses on knowledge management, digital innovation, and user-centered services. \n\u200bShe is a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN) and an active member of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA). \n\u200bProfessional Background\n\u200bMrs. Hosea began her career at Adamawa State University, Mubi, where she served as Head of Collection Development, Head of Reader Services, and Technical Services Librarian. In 2014, she joined the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny. Her roles there have included Cataloguing and Acquisition Librarian and Circulation Librarian, leading to her current appointment as Acting Polytechnic Librarian. \n\u200bEducational Qualifications:\n\u200bMaster of Library and Information Science (MLIS) \u2013 Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt \n\u200bBachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) \u2013 University of Maiduguri \n\u200bDiploma in Library and Information Science \u2013 Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria \n\u200bCertificates in Digital Skills (ADAPTI & DISCET) \u2013 Digital Bridge Institute \n\u200bResearch & Academic Contributions\n\u200bMrs. Hosea has authored and co-authored scholarly papers contributing to the advancement of librarianship in Nigeria. Her professional and research interests include: \n\u200bInformation literacy and user education \n\u200bICT integration in library management \n\u200bDigital preservation and emerging technologies \n\u200bChange management within the Fifth Industrial Revolution \n\u200bShe has shared her research through participation in both national and international conferences. \n\u200bInstitutional Leadership\n\u200bAs an academic administrator, Mrs. Hosea chairs and serves on several institutional committees, including: \n\u200bStudents\u2019 Information Handbook Committee \n\u200bMatriculation Harmonization Committee \n\u200bCommittee on Indecent Conduct \n\u200bFrom the Desk of the Ag.
